carved into smaller peices and then hauled up the hill by hand(s).

Beloved,I am on the same search as everyone else- a search for meaning, for Love, for Life, for exactly what God desires both of me and for me. I have spent years calling out to God for adventure, for more- more of Him, greater experiences with His creation, “More” and “Greater” and “More” and “Greater.” For years my heart has cried out for Africa, for the poor, and the lost, and those who live hidden from and invisible to the rest of humanity. They are God’s most favorite. I want to be there, to touch these whose ‘joy in the midst of struggle’ breaks His heart. I want for my heart to be broken over all that His heart is broken over. I want increased compassion, increased desire to serve, increased Love for all that He loves. I desire to be completely broken- to be rid of all of me and to then be filled to overflowing with all of Him. I want to die in order to LIVE!It was January 2006; and I was at the end of a long fast, slightly and wonderfully out of my mind and very close to the presence. I was speaking with the Lord about my heart’s cry for adventure. It was clear to me that Jesus wouldn’t put a desire like that so strongly on my heart if it was not to be part of my calling. He and I were talking about Africa and when that should happen. I suggested “in 2 years,” in order that I would have time to prepare, when God suggested “now”. Realizing that He is the Boss of me and that “NOW” is actually possible, I became very excited! I researched and made contacts and prayed and applied and waited. I became very eager and excited over different prospects and when those didn’t work out I started over. Through all of this, the only thing that has remained crystal clear is that I am to go- the duration of my stay, how, and for what exact purpose remains in flux. This is okay and quite expected of God based on how He has worked with me in all of my past! My heart is simply to obey Him- To go where He leads and sends me, to speak when He calls me to open my mouth, to pray all the time, to give all the time, to Love all the time.I will leave in January 2007, exactly one year after Our initial Africa Mission- Adventure conversation, flying first to Johannesburg, South Africa and then to Tanzania, Africa in February. I will be living and working in the Emmanuel Children’s Center, loving the children and contributing any and all of my giftings. I am being allowed an opportunity to utilize my degree in Early Childhood Education in the form of home-schooling the youngest boys (in English!!!!). I have also been asked to set up youth programs in the local church. This is all very exciting and a wonderful opportunity for growth! I go with expectations of being stretched and in hopes of playing a part in re-building the nation and raising up the next generation to live the lives they were created to live! I plan on leaving much more that footprints in the dirt on which I tread. My heart is to “teach people to fish” as the ancient proverb suggests… “Do not give a man a fish to feed him for one day, but teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.” Isn’t that beautiful?! There are so many lives- priceless treasures- beautiful faces and warm hearts throughout the world that have not yet been told- “YOU MATTER! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! I WANT YOU TO MEET THIS GREAT FISHER OF MEN- HE’LL FEED YOU FOR A LIFETIME!” The need is so great in Tanzania but God is so much Greater! He is preparing hearts and bodies to sacrifice their lives to the greater call of increasing His Kingdom in Africa, in the world. I am so Blessed to be called to this. I say “YES” to God’s question of “Will you go?” and I plan to bring you with me (in my heart- don’t pack your bags just yet) as I go forth. We see in Matthew 28: 19 and 20 Jesus’ desire for us, His believers to go forth and share the gospel to make disciples of all the nations.Life circumstances don’t allow for all of us to physically go, however, you can be a part of the great commission, reaching the nation of Africa, by choosing to partner with me either prayerfully or financially.love love loveCaitlin Joy Pritchard The Lord said: ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’Then the righteous will answer, “Lord, when…(did I do all this)?”The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of these, you did it to Me.’Matthew 25:35, 36
